Scripts and Shooting Scripts
Scripts:
The document given to members of the production team, telling them what movements will take place and what actions will be carried out by the actors, along with their dialogue and expressions to be used. The main parts of a script are the actions and dialogue required. The action is written in the present tense while the dialogue is written as a character would deliver it. Scripts also include slug lines (scene headings) that state three important pieces of information:
- Whether the scene is an interior or exterior scene.
Cool.

Knight-Higgs Shoes Script:
We open with an external shot of Luke's Bagel Shop, before cutting inside. We see Mr. Luke, manning the till as a child approaches with a bagel.
We open with an external shot of Luke's Bagel Shop, before cutting inside. We see Mr. Luke, manning the till as a child approaches with a bagel.
Mr. Luke: What?
Child: Can I have this bagel please Mr. Luke sir?
Mr. Luke leans forwards and looks down over the counter at the child's shoes. Cut to POV shot as he finishes leaning. The child is not wearing Knight-Higgs Shoes. Cut to over-the-shoulder shot from behind the child's right shoulder as Mr. Luke leans back again. Cut to POV of Mr. Luke, looking down at the now very terrified child. Cut back to the over-the-shoulder shot as Mr. Luke begins to transform into a terrifying monster. Cut back to the child as they reach into their O'Neill messenger bag and pull out a pair of Knight-Higgs Shoes. They quickly change into them and the Mr. Luke monster quickly returns to normal. Cut to a side-on shot of Mr. Luke and the child as this exchange happens:
Mr. Luke: (Scanning the bagel and handing it to the child) There you are.
Child: (Handing Mr. Luke some money) Thank you.
The Knight-Higgs Shoes logo appears on-screen.

The second half of the slogan appears next to the first half.
Narrator: It's a shoe.
Shooting Scripts:
This is the development of a script, specifically for use during the production of a television product or film. This includes scene numbers, camera angles, shot types and soundtrack information, as well as the contents of a script, such as dialogue.
These are apparently colour coded or something.
